Stephen Barclay

Stephen K. Barclay is the business director of analytics, health information systems, at Solventum. He oversees the overall analytics business, strategy, operations and technical development. Stephen joined Solventum as a software developer and has since held various roles, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, product development manager and regional business manager. With more than 20 years of global healthcare analytics experience as a developer, technical leader and now business manager, Stephen is passionate about data! But also, just as passionate about security, he has been the technical leader for SOC2+ and most recently StateRAMP, which is based on NIST 800-53 rev5 controls.

In addition to analytics, Stephen has been involved in diagnosis related group (DRG) introductions in several countries such as Brazil, Chile, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. He currently serves as the technical leader on Solventum’s global interdisciplinary ICD-11 steering committee.

Stephen holds a computer science degree with additional certifications as a Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.  In 2011, Stephen was awarded U.S. patent 8,073,709 for CPT pricing from MedPAR data.
