Cecilia Charles, RHIA, has worked in the health care industry over 30+ years in various roles from health information management (HIM) director/manager with OP specialty coding focus on emergency and ancillary coding. Her previous experience involved implementation of EHR and coding software, which included 3M℠ CodeRyte℠ CodeAssist℠ System and 3M™ 360 Encompass™ System. She is a member of AHIMA and is an approved ICD-10-CM Trainer.

Cecilia earned her BS in health information management from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She spends her free time traveling and researching ancestry.
