About the product
Help protect wounds and minimize patient pain during dressing changes and removals1,2 with the Adaptic Touch Non-Adhering Silicone Dressing. This flexible, open mesh wound contact layer is made of cellulose acetate with a soft silicone coating that helps prevent secondary dressings from adhering to the wound,1,2 ensuring easy application and patient comfort.

- Enables fluid transfer to a secondary dressing, reducing the risk of exudate pooling and maceration.3,4
- Protects wounds while minimizing patient pain and trauma during dressing changes and removal.1,2
- Suitable for use with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) under medical supervision to protect fragile wound structures.
- Easy to apply, use and cut to desired size and shape with interleaves on without losing integrity or sticking to gloves.
- Semi-transparent design allows wound bed inspection and undisturbed healing.1
- Allows time to apply secondary dressing by staying in place during dressing application, changes and wear.
Suggested Applications
- Managing dry to heavily exuding partial- and full-thickness chronic wounds including venous ulcers, decubitus (pressure ulcers), diabetic foot ulcers, traumatic and surgical wounds, donor sites and first- and second-degree burns.
- Suitable for use with NPWT under medical supervision to protect fragile wound structures.
- Can be used in conjunction with compression therapy.
- Use as a primary wound contact layer that protects the wound and prevents secondary dressings from adhering to the wound.
- Ideal for patients with fragile or friable skin.
