About the product
Designed to adapt to irregular wound contours, 3M™ V.A.C.® Granufoam™ Dressings are ideal for a range of chronic, acute and sub-acute wounds. The reticulated open pores in the black polyurethane foam help to evenly distribute negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) across the wound bed, promoting tissue granulation formation and perfusion, while the hydrophobic properties enhance exudate removal.

- Available in multiple shapes and sizes (small, medium, large and x-large) including, 3M™ V.A.C.® Granufoam™ Round Dressing, 3M™ V.A.C.® Granufoam™ Thin Dressing to accommodate a wide variety of wounds.
- Each kit includes one 3M™ V.A.C.® Granufoam™ Dressing, 3M™ V.A.C.® Drape, one ruler, and SensaT.R.A.C.™ Pad Tubing.
- Our proprietary Reticulated Open-Cell Foam (ROCF) conforms to your patients, delivering negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) equally across the wound site.
- Customizable to fit the contours of deep or irregularly shaped wounds.
- Ability to be modified for bridging techniques when treating multiple wounds.
- Compatible with 3M™ ActiV.A.C.™ Therapy Unit, 3M™ V.A.C.® Ulta Therapy Unit, 3M™ V.A.C.® FREEDOM™ Therapy Unit, 3M™ V.A.C.® Rx4 Therapy Unit, 3M™ V.A.C.® Simplicity Therapy Unit and 3M™ Prevena™ Plus 125 Therapy Unit (small and medium dressing sizes only).
Suggested Applications
- Deep, acute wounds with moderate granulation tissue present.
- Full thickness pressure ulcers (Stage 3 or 4).
- Flaps.
- Deep trauma wounds.
- Diabetic foot ulcers.
- Dry wounds.
- Post-graft placement (including dermal substitutes).*
- Venous insufficiency ulcers.
- Closed surgical incisions.*
- *The V.A.C. Granufoam Dressing can be used over grafts, flaps and closed surgical incisions only when there is a non-adherent material placed directly over the graft/flap or incision.
