Strong adhesion

Good adhesion to the skin.

Easy to use

Tape can be torn lengthwise and crosswise to create a variety of sizes as needed.

Adheres to dry skin, tubes, devices and itself.

Single-use length rolls can help reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

Apply tape to skin without pulling or stretching

Pulling or stretching during application may result in tension blisters as tape attempts to return to its original state.

Apply firm pressure to activate the adhesive and fully contact skin

Acrylate adhesives are pressure sensitive.

To remove, loosen the tape’s leading edge

Do not pull the tape perpendicular to the skin. For tape that is strongly adhered to the skin, consider using a medical-grade adhesive remover to soften the adhesive along the peel line.

Remove the tape “low and slow”

Stabilize the skin with one finger at the peel line and continuously move it along the peel line (ideally in the direction of hair growth) to support the skin during removal.

*For use in dry conditions. Not recommended for use when excessive fluids and/or secretions are present. Tape securement and tube position should be monitored routinely.
Helps reduce risk — single-use length rolls can help reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
Consider a barrier like Cavilon™ No Sting Barrier Film with Durapore™ Surgical Tape (per facility protocol).

Suggested Applications

High-strength securement* for clinical applications such as urinary catheters, nasogastric tubes, orogastric tubes and patient positioning.
*For use in dry conditions. Not recommended for use when excessive fluids and/or secretions are present. Tape securement and tube position should be monitored routinely.
