Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the main public website at solventum.com. It covers all core pages and content managed directly by Solventum, including:

  • Primary navigation and landing pages (e.g., Home, About Us, Services, Contact, News)
  • Informational content
  • Interactive features such as forms, search, and global navigation
  • Embedded media players and Solventum-controlled content
  • Accessibility features including skip-to-content links, keyboard navigation, and ARIA landmarks

Exclusions
The Accessibility Statement does not currently apply to the following areas but is in review for future compliance:

  • E-commerce and partner portals, including logged-in experiences, product pages, shopping carts, payment gateways, and checkout flows
  • Third-party content and platforms hosted or developed by partners 

 

Commitment to accessibility

Solventum is dedicated to building inclusive digital experiences for all users, regardless of ability or technology. We will employ our best efforts to adopt accessibility standards. Our website is designed to be:

  • Perceivable – All content is accessible and understandable
  • Operable – Fully navigable via keyboard and assistive technologies
  • Understandable – Clear, consistent, and intuitive
  • Robust – Compatible with evolving assistive tools and web standards

We prioritize accessibility for critical information, including urgent product updates and medical alerts, to ensure timely and equitable access.

WCAG compliance status

As of our latest evaluation, solventum.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Most content meets the standard, though some legacy materials are still being updated.

 
WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance aligns with international legal frameworks, including:

  • United States: Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), Section 508
  • European Union: Web Accessibility Directive, European Accessibility Act (EAA)
  • Canada: AODA, ACA
  • Australia: Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA) and related standards
  • Other applicable laws in countries where we operate
Non-accessible elements

We are actively addressing the following known limitations:

  • Legacy media (PDFs, documents, videos) are not fully accessible
  • Embedded partner portals and vendor content pending review
  • Images missing descriptive alt text
  • Captions missing from legacy video content
  • Content outside of the scope of the European Accessibility Act or the applicable country specific legislation may not be fully accessible.

Remediation Plan

  • Phase 1 – Complete: Global WCAG 2.2 audit and gap analysis
  • Phase 2 – In Progress: Fixing known issues, updating workflows, and processes
  • Phase 3 – Planned: Additional accessibility enhancements
  • Phase 4 – 2026–2030: Updates to legacy digital content
