Laureen Jandroep, QMC, QMPM, QMCI, is a seasoned healthcare professional currently serving as a clinical development specialist at Solventum. In this role, she focuses on enhancing natural language processing (NLP) engine-generated CPT^® code suggestions, leveraging her extensive experience in the medical field.

Laureen's diverse career in healthcare spans several decades and encompasses various roles. She began her journey as an occupational therapist, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. As her career progressed, Laureen demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit by owning and managing a therapy practice that provided services to both outpatient clients and nursing home residents.

Laureen transitioned into the administrative side of healthcare, specializing in medical coding and billing services. During this phase, she discovered her passion for education, focusing on training students to achieve national certification. Her expertise in this field led to a full-time position at CodeRyte, where she immersed herself in the world of computer-assisted coding (CAC).

In August 2023, Laureen made a return to the field of computer-assisted coding, joining Solventum. Her current position as a clinical development specialist allows her to synthesize her rich background in healthcare, coding, and education with cutting-edge technology to improve medical coding processes.
