Hari Balasubramanian
Hari Bala is the chief technology officer for Solventum’s Health Information Systems business, where he leads technology strategy and innovation across AI, data, analytics and cloud platforms. With over 25 years of experience at Microsoft, Oracle — including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI AI) and Oracle Health/Cerner — and GE Healthcare, Hari brings deep expertise in applying advanced technologies to solve complex healthcare challenges.
At Oracle, Hari helped establish and scale the AI Services organization, delivering cognitive, generative and agentic AI solutions across industries. Following Oracle’s acquisition of Cerner, he led the Health Data Intelligence and Analytics platform — a near real-time, cloud-based population health solution. His work supported the development of AI/machine learning platforms and genAI-enabled tools for clinical use cases such as care manager outreach, fall detection, suicide risk prevention for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent for ambient physician notetaking.
Earlier in his career, Hari spent nearly two decades at Microsoft, contributing to large-scale data and analytics initiatives across Azure, Cosmos DB, Windows Core OS, Office 365 and mobile/browser technologies.
Hari is a frequent speaker at industry events and a recognized thought leader in healthcare AI. His recent work focuses on domain-specific agents, ambient intelligence and the ethical deployment of generative AI in clinical environments.
