Dimitri Dimitroyannis is a professor of practice and senior fellow at the University of Texas at Austin’s Value Institute for Health and Care. As a clinician-administrator and health economist, Dimitri brings decades of experience in advancing patient-centered, cost-aware innovation in healthcare delivery.
With a doctorate in physics and an executive MBA, his career has spanned cutting-edge clinical work in modern radiotherapy to pragmatic policy translation, most recently involving the application of time-driven activity-based costing (TDABC) and standardized outcomes in value-based care models, such as CMS CJR and the forthcoming TEAM initiative.
