3M™ LifeASSURE™ EMZ Series Electronics Grade Filters are high-efficiency, naturally hydrophilic, charge-modified, Nylon 6,6 membrane industrial DI water filtersdesigned to meet the exact requirements of Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), critical parts cleaning and chemical applications. The multi-zone membranes and Advanced Pleat Technology provide superior flow characteristics with minimal pressure drop.

3M™ LifeASSURE™ EMZ Series Electronics Grade Filter
3M™ LifeASSURE™ EMZ Series Electronics Grade Filters incorporate multi-zone technology consisting of a larger pore size and volume zone on the upstream section that provides effective pre-filtration of large particles, resulting in higher contaminant reduction capacity compared to a single-zone membrane. On the downstream side, a smaller pore size zone maximizes contaminant holding capacity, maintains particle reduction efficiency and provides a sharp retention cut-off at the rated pore size.
This multi-zone structure enhances the internal surface area, lowers pressure drop and increases contaminant holding capacity and filter life, thereby eliminating the need for multiple housings and filters in industrial DI water filtration systems.
- Charge-modified Nylon 6,6 membrane provides mechanical and electro-kinetic contaminant reduction to deliver extremely low particle counts and endotoxins
- High flow rates with low pressure drop allow water systems to be optimized, decreasing capital costs
- Increased membrane area maximizes contaminant holding capacity
- Technical support from 3M Applications Engineering provides application-specific engineering expertise for end users
