The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Water Filtration System AP900 Series is designed to meet the water filtration needs of most single and multi-family homes as well as light commercial applications. This whole house and drinking water filtration system helps protect plumbing and fixtures while reducing sediment, scale and unpleasant chlorine taste and odor (system dependent). With this system, you can improve the quality and taste of your home’s drinking water while supplying cleaner, clearer water to every water source point throughout your entire home.

3M’s innovative Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design, which is an industry first for this application, allows for fast and easy filter change-outs without having to contact the filter media, clean the housings or use a filter wrench. Maintaining this whole house filtration system is as simple as replacing the filter with a quarter turn like a light bulb.

The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Water Filtration System AP900 Series is manufactured with a head assembly that includes an integral mounting bracket. The 304 stainless steel head allows for “sweat in place” installation and is a corrosion-resistant material that provides long service life and won’t affect the taste of your drinking water.

Installation

The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Water Filtration System AP900 Series is a point of entry system that is typically installed downstream from the water meter or well pump by a qualified professional. To install, you’ll need a pipe cutter, two 1” sweat connections, a 2” ball valve (sweat type), plumbers’ tape, an adjustable wrench and plumbing solder. The system comes with a filter head assembly with an integral mounting bracket and a single filter.
