3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Under Sink Full Flow Water Filter System 3MFF100 is 3M’s state-of-the-art drinking water filtration system with a capacity of up to 6,000 gallons. This system installs under the sink and provides on-demand water filtration for drinking (water, coffee, tea) and cooking purposes. It is NSF-certified to reduce particulate, chlorine taste and odor, parasitic protozoan cysts, lead and select volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as benzene and p-Dichlorobenzene. The universal system design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems. A key feature of this water filter is that it is designed to flow at the rate of your faucet (up to 2.5 gallons per minute), minimizing loss of water pressure commonly seen with using water filters. The advanced triple stage filtration process helps provide cleaner, clearer, better tasting drinking water. The first stage nonwoven media captures the larger particles. During the second stage, the pleated sub-micron membrane reduces particles as small as 0.2 micron. In the third and final stage, the carbon block reduces chlorine taste and odor and select VOCs that may be present in the drinking water. Filter change-outs take a few minutes with the easy Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design. This design allows for fast and easy cartridge change-outs without having to contact the filter media or the need for a filter wrench.

The science inside matters.

The 3MFF100 might look like an ordinary filter on the outside, but inside it’s anything but ordinary. Its three-stage filtration system with carbon block technology provides filtration you can count on to help reduce contaminants that may be in your drinking water. Each product comes with a performance data sheet that shows the list of contaminants that the filter has been shown to reduce and certified by a third-party NSF.

Stage 1: Pre-Filtration- Nonwoven filtration media that reduces larger size particles to help increase sediment holding capacity of the filter.

Stage 2: Fine Filtration- 3M two-zone microporous pleated membrane that reduces 99.99% of protozoan cysts and helps provide excellent sediment life with minimal pressure drop.

Stage 3: Final Filtration- Activated Carbon Filtration; 3M carbon block technology for reduction of lead, chlorine odor and for improved taste.

Filter Replacement

Sold separately. To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance including replacement of the filter cartridges at the required interval, at the rated capacity or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs, is required. The filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality.

Turn off cold water supply. Open faucet to relieve pressure.

Fasten filter head wall fasteners. Measure and cut the tubing for the filter head assembly connections.
