Who can participate?

We’re looking for healthy adults who meet these criteria:

  • 22 years or older
  • In good health
  • Have transportation and are available to visit our facility in Eagan, Minnesota
  • Are not an employee of Solventum
  • Other criteria may be required

What to expect

Our clinical research team will guide you through every step. Here’s how it works:

  1. Express your interest: Fill out our quick online form with your contact information.
  2. Talk to our staff: We’ll help you understand what we’re looking for and determine if you’re eligible to participate.
  3. Be notified of opportunities: Once you’re in our database, we may contact you to choose a study that’s right for you.
  4. Attend scheduled visits: During study visits, we’ll apply test products and assess how they perform. Some studies require products to be worn home for extended periods. All clinical studies at Solventum are conducted with the oversight of an independent review board and on-staff nurses.
  5. Get compensated: Once your participation is over, payment is processed promptly through our secure, third-party system.

FAQs

The length will vary based on the type of study. Our shortest studies involve one 60-minute visit. Longer clinical studies require products to be worn for 35 days. This information will be explained to you before you commit to participating in any study. We schedule visits Monday through Friday.

Compensation depends on how long and complex the study is. Payment is issued promptly through a third-party vendor after study completion.

We test medical devices including adhesive tapes, surgical dressings and more. All studies comply with ethical standards and industry regulations, with oversight by an independent review board (IRB) and on-site nurses.

Study visits involve cleaning the skin at the test site, applying test products, evaluating how well they stick and examining skin for any reaction. You’ll be guided every step of the way, and our team will monitor your comfort and safety.
