About the Case

Chipped and fractured anterior restorations of male patient (age 63) were in urgent need of replacement. After detailed examination and explanation of treatment options, the patient selected full contour zirconia restorations due to lower costs and comparable esthetics to layered ceramic crowns. All teeth needed core build-ups prior to preparation, and the lateral left incisor was additionally stabilized using a fiber post.

FINAL RESULTS: After treatment and final cementation, the patient revisited the office for a final check. He was very pleased with the monolithic restoration especially in terms of function, phonetics and esthetics. Monolithic restorations allow for cost-effective all-ceramic restorations and are a real alternative when it comes to price-perfomance ratio.
