Barb Johnston

Barb Johnston, CEO and Co-Founder of HealthLinkNow has over 20 years in the Telemedicine (TM) industry.  Ms. Johnston was the Project Director for a CMS/CMMI award of $7.7 million which integrated Telepsychiatry services into over 80 Primary Care clinics across multiple States.

Ms. Johnston has experience in the business, legal, clinical and policy aspects of the Telemedicine industry. Ms. Johnston formally served as the Executive Director of the Medical Board of California, the Executive Director of the California Telemedicine and eHealth Center and prior to that she was the eHealth Manager of Kaiser Permanente’s Division of research. She was invited to testify before Congress on the impact and challenges of Telemedicine in 2017. Ms. Johnston is a founding and current as a Board member of the California Emerging Technology Fund.
