This year, I am excited to participate in the Solventum Client Experience Summit (CES). I have been fortunate enough to attend Solventum CES for more than 12 years. Even after all that time, there is still growing excitement and enthusiasm for all the sessions and seeing the new and distinct ways our customers share their experiences and how they, together with Solventum experts, keep innovation moving forward. This year’s Solventum CES is sure to keep the momentum going.

For the past three years, we have expanded our focus on clinician productivity solutions. Although still relatively new, it’s exciting to hear stories of how clinicians are adopting artificial intelligence (AI)-powered ambient technology and how it impacts patient interactions and addresses administrative challenges. We love seeing the positive impact our customers are making on patient care.

This year’s clinician and provider sessions promise to be very popular and engaging. Attendees can expect to hear directly from clinicians and their leadership teams about how they are using technology to change how they interact with patients and how they have increased the quality of time spent with the people they serve.

Think about a clinician’s time, how they are moving from patient to patient with various health concerns, documenting a patient’s present illness, reviewing symptoms, past history, medications, social dynamics, family history, care plan, other considerations such as quality metrics – all within a single visit.

Then, think of your own experience as a patient. I’m sure at some point you have been to a doctor’s appointment, sitting patiently on the exam bed or chair in the little paper gown, waiting for the clinician to type or toggle your experience onto their screen; usually responding to the side or back of their head. Although your clinician is listening, you also know they are checking boxes on a form.

Whether you are the patient waiting or the clinician providing care, the experience can be challenging. Generative AI and ambient intelligence is helping to change the game and get physicians reconnected with patients. Patients begin to feel seen and heard, and physicians have an intuitive process that captures all the information needed about that patient – and perhaps discover that they have a little extra time at the end of the day.

As a company we have always been dedicated to paving the way in coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI). The inclusion of capturing the clinician and patient conversation takes things to the next level. I’m excited to see how far we’ve come — and where we are headed. The energy and future around clinician productivity, ambient intelligence and patient-centered innovation supports our commitment to making healthcare more intuitive, accurate and human.

The way in which Solventum connects patients, clinicians, specialists, coding, leadership teams, independent practices, healthcare networks – and on and on – makes it a truly magical experience.

If you’re looking for ways to connect, collaborate and discover opportunities that enhance the care experience for patients and clinicians, I personally invite and encourage you to join us at the 2025 Solventum CES. The latest details can be found here. We hope to see you this July 21-24 in Orlando!
