3M™ V.A.C.® Whitefoam™ Dressing
About the product
Ideal for tunneling wounds, undermining wounds and situations where hyper-granulation is likely to occur. Our V.A.C. Whitefoam Dressing offers a versatile polyvinyl solution to help bolster split thickness skin grafts. We designed our disposable, single-use, sterile packaged dressing for use with V.A.C.® Therapy Units and the Prevena™ Plus 125 Therapy Unit.
Product details
- Ideal for tunneling and undermined wounds due to its higher tensile strength.
- Less adherent than standard V.A.C.® Dressings.
- Pre-moistened with sterile water.
- Hydrophilic polyvinyl alcohol foam.
- Available in small and large dressing sizes as foam only or part of a V.A.C. Whitefoam™ Dressing Kit (includes dressing and SensaT.R.A.C.™ Pad Tubing).
- Recommended in situations where hyper-granulation responses are likely.
- Comfortable and versatile wound dressing helps bolster flaps and may be used over skin grafts.
- Requires higher pressure from -125 mmHg to -175 mmHg to provide adequate negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) distribution.
