The 3M™ Drinking Water Filter System FM1500-B is a water filtration system for offices and light commercial applications. This point-of-use under sink water filter system provides cleaner, clearer, better tasting drinking water with a mechanical filtration process that reduces asbestos, lead, cysts, chlorine taste and odor, common waterborne bacteria, algae, mold spores and sediment.

3M™ Drinking Water Filter System FM1500-B
3M™ Drinking Water Filter System FM1500-B has a 1,500-gallon (5,678 liter) capacity with a 0.6 gpm (2.27 lpm) flow rate and a 0.2 µm rating to help deliver cleaner, clearer, better tasting drinking water straight to your tap or water cooler. Thanks to its compact, space-saving design and point-of-use filter that replaces bottled water, this under sink drinking water filtration system is the ideal sustainable solution for office or commercial water coolers.
It does not contain mercury or require electricity to function. Using a mechanical filtration process as opposed to irradiation or other disinfection methods, this filtration system helps to reduce bacteria in your drinking water.
The 3M™ Drinking Water Filter System FM1500-B includes a head and mounting bracket and 4 mounting screws, a filter cartridge that incorporates carbon-block media and is protected by a pleated pre-filter and 1/4” NPT inlet and outlet plumbing connections. The system has a maximum operating pressure of 100 psi (690 kPa) and an operating temperature of 100°F (37.8°C).
Available with or without a dedicated faucet, this drinking water filtration system is compliant with NSF Standards 42 and 53 and features 3M’s Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design, which allows for fast and easy cartridge change-outs.
