The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Under Sink Drinking Water Filtration System AP-DWS1000 installs under the sink and connects to a polished chrome dedicated faucet, which is included. It provides cleaner, clearer, better tasting water by reducing particulates, chlorine taste and odor, lead, turbidity, parasitic protozoan cysts*, VOCs and MTBE. *Based on testing using Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts.

3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Under Sink Drinking Water Filtration System AP-DWS1000
This sleek drinking water filtration system installs under the sink and is a great choice for cleaner, clearer, better tasting water for drinking (water, coffee, tea, etc.) andcooking. It incorporates an advanced dual-stage carbon-block filtration process to help reduce particulates, chlorine taste and odor, lead, turbidity, parasitic protozoancysts*, VOCs and MTBE. The universal system design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems.
*Based on testing using Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts.
Installation
The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Under Sink Drinking Water Filtration System AP-DWS1000 comes with everything you need for installation, including a polished chrome dedicated faucet, quick-connect fittings, an attached mounting bracket, shroud and tubing. Also included is a built-in shut-off valve that allows for changing the Sanitary Quick Change filters without shutting off the water supply. Additional tools are required for installation: drill, adjustable wrench, #8 gauge fastening screws appropriate for mounting surface, Phillips head screwdriver, razor knife or tube cutter. To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance is required, including replacement of the water filter cartridges at the required interval, at the rated capacity or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs. Water filter cartridges should be changed at least every 6 months. The filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality. For an undersink installation, you will need to install the dedicated faucet through an existing hole in the countertop or drill a new hole, if needed.
Tip: To avoid having to drill a hole in the countertop, consider 3US-MAX-S01 or 3MFF100 full flow systems.

- All under sink and refrigerator water filtration systems have a 6 month replacement interval unless noted otherwise.
