When initially applied, Protemp Crown Temporization Material has a self-supporting, malleable consistency that makes it easy and fast to trim, fit, customize and place. Because of this, just a few sizes and shapes are needed to fit nearly all permanent molar, bicuspid and cuspid teeth. Thanks to its preformed anatomy, precision fit and strength, you can use this temporization material for single posterior units and in situations where fabricating a matrix isn’t possible. For routine cases, simply use a standard temporary cement without a lining.
