Unsolicited Idea Submission Policy
At Solventum, we listen closely to our customers’ needs to innovate solutions that move healthcare forward.
Solventum and its employees do not accept on a confidential basis any unsolicited ideas, suggestions, proposals, product concepts and the like. This approach helps Solventum to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes when Solventum’s products, services and technologies might seem similar to submissions provided to Solventum, particularly since Solventum has an extensive R&D program that is likely developing ideas and inventions in the same area as your idea.
You should consult your own lawyer and take whatever steps necessary to protect your idea before submitting your idea to Solventum (e.g., patents, copyrights, or otherwise).
Additionally, this unsolicited ideas portal is not sufficient to provide any type of legal notice to Solventum. Intellectual property-related legal notices should be sent directly to the Solventum Chief IP Counsel; other Legal notices should be sent directly to the Solventum General Counsel.
Terms of unsolicited idea submission
We’re glad you’re interested in Solventum and appreciate you taking the time to share your non-confidential ideas. If you choose to submit a non-confidential, idea, comment, or other information to Solventum, please note that the following terms apply to your submission, regardless of any contrary statements you may include:
- While we strive to provide a response, submitting an idea doesn’t create any obligations for Solventum, including any obligation to review it, keep it confidential, or respond;
- By submitting an idea, you confirm that you’re authorized to do so and that it doesn’t contain confidential information, proprietary know‑how, trade secrets, or other intellectual property belonging to someone else;
- Since the information submitted is non-confidential, ideas you share may be used or shared by Solventum in support of our business, our innovation efforts, and for any other purpose, and it’s Solventum’s sole discretion whether to acknowledge or pay you for your submission.
- By using this submission portal, you confirm that you are not putting Solventum on any type of legal notice.
