Scope
This accessibility statement applies to the main public website at solventum.com. It covers all principal pages and content managed directly by Solventum, including:
- Primary navigation and key landing pages (e.g., Home, About Us, Services, Contact, News)
- Informational content
- Interactive features such as forms, search, and global navigation
- Solventum-controlled embedded media and components
- Accessibility features including skip-to-content links, keyboard navigation, and ARIA landmarks
Exclusions
The following areas are currently outside the scope of this statement but are under review for future improvements:
- E-commerce and partner portals, including signed-in experiences, product pages, shopping carts, payment gateways, and checkout flows
- Third-party platforms or content hosted, embedded, or developed by partners
Commitment to accessibility
Solventum is committed to delivering inclusive and accessible digital experiences for all users, regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology. We follow recognised accessibility standards and design our website to be:
- Perceivable – Content is presented in ways users can recognise and process
- Operable – Usable with a keyboard or assistive technologies
- Understandable – Clear, predictable, and consistent
- Robust – Compatible with current and emerging assistive tools
We prioritise accessibility for critical information, including urgent product notices and medical guidance, to maintain equitable and timely access.
Standards and legal frameworks
Solventum operates globally and aims to follow widely recognised international accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549.
Our practices are informed by relevant legislation in English-speaking jurisdictions, including:
- United Kingdom: Equality Act 2010
- Australia: Disability Discrimination Act 1992
- Canada: Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and Accessible Canada Act (ACA)
- Ireland: Equal Status Acts 2000–2018
Where local laws differ, we endeavour to meet applicable accessibility requirements to the extent reasonably practicable. This statement is intended for international publication wherever an English version is provided , for informational purposes.
Current Status
Following our latest accessibility review, solventum.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Most key user journeys comply, and remaining issues are actively being addressed.
Non-accessible elements
We are working to address the following known issues:
- Some legacy PDFs, videos, and documents may not yet be fully accessible
- Certain embedded vendor systems are undergoing review
- A small number of images may lack descriptive alternative text
- Older videos may not include accurate captions
- Content outside the scope of relevant national accessibility legislation may not fully comply
Remediation Plan
- Phase 1 – Completed: Global accessibility audit (WCAG 2.2)
- Phase 2 – In Progress: Fixing identified issues; updating authoring processes
- Phase 3 – Planned: Additional enhancements and feature improvements
- Phase 4 – 2026–2030: Upgrade or replacement of legacy content and systems
