3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Scale Inhibition Systems
About the product
We designed the 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Scale Inhibition Systems dose water with polyphosphates in small concentrations of 2-3 ppm, in order to bind hardness-causing minerals such as calcium and magnesium. Our system provides unrestricted flow of up to 37.9 lpm with ¾” NPT inlet/outlet connections. It’s easy to install and has quick change-out cartridges.
Product details
- Polyphosphates extend the life of appliances that use hot water by inhibiting scale build-up in water heaters (both standard and tank-less styles) and in appliances such as dishwashers and clothes washers
- Binds hardness-causing minerals such as calcium and magnesium to prevent them solidifying
- Scale inhibition forms a thin protective layer that protects piping from corrosion
- Easy cartridge change-out for fast system maintenance
- ¾” NPT inlet/outlet connections
- 316 stainless steel head for ‘sweat-in-place’ installation and corrosion resistance
- FDA CFR-21 compliant materials
Suggested Applications
- Use to reduce scale build-up on hot water-using appliances such as water heaters (standard and tank-less), clothes washers and dishwashing machines, and on plumbing fixtures like taps, pipes, and shower heads.
