About the product
Designed with our proprietary high-tack silicone adhesive for gentle skin attachment, Medical Double Coated Tape 2487 features a translucent polyurethane film carrier and pressure-sensitive acrylate adhesive. The double-coated adhesive allows design ngineers to use it for multi-layer construction of healthcare medical devices.
Product details
- High-tack silicone adhesive provides up to seven days of consistent adhesion to the skin.
- Gentle removal helps minimise skin and hair trauma as well as residue on both skin and production equipment.
- Conformable, breathable, translucent, biocompatible, fluid-resistant double-sided silicone/acrylate.
- Can be repositioned after initial application and is designed for repeat use on the same skin location.
- Compatible with ethylene oxide sterilisation.
- Designed for general taping to sensitive/fragile skin.
- Not made with natural rubber latex or heavy metal catalysts.
Suggested Applications
- Adhesive/component material used in general body or "stick-to-skin" medical device applications.
- May be integrated with additional technologies.
