About the product
CUNO™ CTG-Klean System Filter Pack with Betafine™ XL Series Filter Cartridge was designed as part of a totally enclosed system that uses a separate pressure vessel and disposable filter pack to isolate the product being filtered from the housing. It reduces time, labour and operator exposure to impurities and cleaning solvents involved with filter change-outs and cleaning of conventional housings.

The 3M™ Betafine™ XL Series Filter Difference
3M™ Betafine™ XL Series filter cartridge’s all-polypropylene cartridge components are thermally bonded; no adhesives or binder compounds are used. All materials used in the manufacture of 3M™ Betafine™ XL filters are CFR 21 listed for direct food contact. 3M™ Betafine™ XL Series filter cartridges are ideal for a wide variety of applications.
High surface area of the pleated filter matrix offers increased flow, high contaminant loading capacity and low initial pressure drop. 3M™ Betafine™ XL Series filter construction is optimized to obtain high flow rates while maintaining the defined particle reduction efficiencies. Each filter cartridge is manufactured from 100% polypropylene and pleated for increased surface area.
The Power of Pleated Performance
Our engineered, absolute rated, pleated filter provides dependable, repeatable filtration, improving effluent quality and helping provide consistent performance. The nature of pleated media also constitutes a greater surface area in less physical space and provides a longer service life compared to non-pleated media. Greater surface area leads to fewer filter change-outs and lower total filtration operating costs.
Streamlined, Long-Life, High-Performance
Our cartridge pack design reduces the extensive time and labour involved with filter change-outs and cleaning of conventional housings, thereby reducing operator exposure to product cleaning solvents. This streamlined system, coupled with high performance, long-life filters, make CUNO™ CTG-Klean Systems the clear choice for cost-effective filtration. In some applications, hold up volume can be recovered from the system and used filter packs can be capped and stored for repeated use, lowering costs.
