Cavilon Advanced skin protectant
Designed to be used even under the most challenging conditions, Cavilon Advanced skin protectant is different than traditional skin ointments. Use this revolutionary skin protectant to stop, reverse and even prevent IAD.* With a long-lasting barrier that protects the skin for up to seven days, Cavilon Advanced skin protectant is also breathable, allowing for moisture-vapor transmission that helps keep the skin comfortable. With a cyanoacrylate system that includes a gentle sting-free and alcohol-free formula, this skin protectant comes in a single-use applicator to help reduce the potential for cross-contamination in your facility. We offer two convenient sizes to meet your needs. The original 2.7ml applicator covers up to up to 645 cm² (equals approximately the area of an A4 piece of paper), making it ideal for managing IAD in larger areas. The 0.7ml applicator is ideal for smaller areas of the body such as around ostomies, tubes and wounds, allowing for precise application.
The optimal solution for managing damaged or broken skin and protecting at-risk skin
- Provides an effective barrier, which has been shown to reduce the pain of managing incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD)* and helps to prevent skin damage from body fluids
*Cavilon Advanced skin protectant is not an analgesic
- Lasts up to seven days and may be applied one to three times per week
- Adheres to damag, wet and weepy skin.

Suggested Applications
- Ideal for managing damaged or broken skin and protecting at-risk or compromised skin from MASD (including Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis, Peristomal Skin Damage, Periwound Skin Damage and Intertriginous Dermatitis (ITD) and irritants (such as liquid stool, mixed feces/urine, gastric fluid and chronic wound exudate moisture, friction and/or shear, a leading factor in pressure ulcer/injury development).
