Fluid outlets in the blanket minimise fluid pooling while the patient's natural pressure points compress the warming blanket, preventing warm air from reaching potentially ischemic tissue. Perforations in the soft, radiolucent materials provide uniform convective warming. Bair Hugger Full Access Underbody Warming Blanket, 54500 is radiolucent and features soft yet sturdy materials.

  • 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Temperature Management Solutions are indicated for hypothermic patients or normothermic patients for whom induced hypothermia or localized temperature therapy is clinically indicated. In addition, the solutions can be used to provide patient thermal comfort when conditions exist that may cause patients to become too warm or too cold. The temperature management systems can be used with adult and pediatric patients. Bair Hugger Temperature Management Solutions should only be used by trained medical professionals.
