About the product
3M™ 740 Series Filter Cartridges are our large diameter, polypropylene microfibre pleated depth media cartridges for use in filter housings that accept 16.51 cm outside diameter and 101.6 cm length filter cartridges with 226 o-ring connections.

- Higher flow capacity per cartridge resulting in fewer cartridges required, reduced cartridge handling, and less individual cartridge seal points minimising chance of fluid bypass
- Radial pleat design offers high contaminant capacity
- Use of 3M microfibre filtration medias offers consistent and predictable filtration performance and high particle removal efficiencies throughout filter life
- Easy to use with no special tools or hardware required for filter change-out
- All polypropylene filter construction offers broad chemical compatibility
Suggested Applications
- Use for process waters (pre-RO, cooling), machine coolants, chemicals, refining, ground/reclaimed/waste waters, well injection and produced waters
