The Bair Hugger lower body warming blanket, 52500 is a single-use lower-body forced-air warming blanket that prevent hypothermia and maintain normothermia in patients undergoing upper-body surgical procedures, which has been shown to reduce the risk of surgical site infection (SSI)(1,2).

Suggested Applications
- Bair Hugger temperature management solutions are indicated for hypothermic patients or normothermic patients for whom induced hypothermia or localized temperature therapy is clinically indicated. In addition, the solutions can be used to provide patient thermal comfort when conditions exist that may cause patients to become too warm or too cold. The temperature management systems can be used with adult and pediatric patients. Bair Hugger Temperature Management Solutions should only be used by trained medical professionals.
