The 3M™ AbThera™ Advance Open Abdomen Dressing, when used with Negative Pressure Therapy provided by the 3M™ V.A.C.® Ulta Therapy Unit provides an active temporary abdominal closure system, designed to remove fluids from the abdominal cavity and draw wound edges together, helping to achieve primary fascial closure while protecting abdominal contents from external contaminants.¹

Each AbThera Advance Dressing Kit consists of 1 x 3M™ AbThera™ Fenestrated Visceral Protective Layer, 2 x 3M™ AbThera™ Advance Perforated Foam, 1 x 3M™ SensaT.R.A.C.™ Pad, and 4 x 3M™ V.A.C.® Drape sheets.
