The 3M™ Prevena™ Plus Customizable Incision Management System is designed to manage and protect surgical incisions in patients at risk of surgical site complications, including infection.¹ By applying 125mmHg continous negative pressure for up to 7 days, 3M™ Prevena™ Therapy helps to hold incision edges together,² reduce oedema³ and removes fluid and infection materials away from the incision and into a replacable canister.⁴ Prevena Therapy has been proven to help reduce surgical site complications and improve patient outcomes across multiple surgical specialties.⁵⁻¹⁴ Helping to reduce the burden on healthcare facilities through reduced reoperations ⁶ ⁹ ¹² and associated additional costs of treatment.¹⁴ ¹⁵

- 3M™ Prevena™ Customizable Dressings contain a foam boster to channel negative pressure to the incision area. The dressing's skin friendly interface layer helps to wick fluid away from the skin surface and contains 0.0019% ionic silver to reduce bacterial colonisation of the fabric.
