Take control of your data

Product details

Manage your workflow

Streamline and automate your workflow through interfaces, worklists, flexible data entry methods, extensive keystroke shortcuts, and user-specific processes.

Manage coding priorities with the custom worklist function, where you can filter records by your chosen criteria and group them on drill-down worklists, whether it’s length of stay (LOS), medical specialty, discharge date, etc. You can generate these lists automatically at any time according to your definitions in the scheduler.

Interface data for speed and accuracy

Reduce manual data entry and potential data quality problems using HDM’s data interface options for transmitting data in and out of the system. Data transfer options include standard HL7, ASCII fixed or proprietary formats, and batch or automated data transfer. Demographic information can be imported in real-time. You can also collect key data about patients, clinicians, and resource use to support the organization’s data quality initiatives.

Capture quality data with expert help

Facilitate quality data capture and reduce rework with HDM’s expert assistance built into the system. The software provides both standard edits, in accordance with CIHI’s DAD/NACRS edit specifications, as well as customizable edits to analyze data according to your own criteria.

Seamless integration with Solventum™ Codefinder™ Software

Together, Codefinder and HDM create a powerful, sophisticated system that can help automate your coding processes. Once the coding system computes the codes and grouping, HDM’s dynamic database stores the results for analysis.

Security with HDM tools

HDM offers security levels in both the data entry and reporting functions to control a user’s information access. These security levels allow or prevent reading, inserting, editing, or printing on a per data element basis. In addition, modifications to key demographic information are recorded.

Analyse your facility with powerful reporting

The software’s Reporter function generates standard reports and lets you design new reports or customise existing reports, providing you with the accurate and timely data you need. With the Reporter, you can run reports that:

  • Identify the most frequently treated grouping methodologies (major clinical categories/case mix group (MCC/CMG) or major ambulatory cluster/Comprehensive Ambulatory Classification System (MAC/CACS)) to focus on appropriate levels of estimated utilization management and decision support.
  • Track trends in coder productivity, accounting for complexity of cases.
  • Evaluate clinician service areas by clinician, resource intensity weight (RIW), and expected length of stay (ELOS).

Support

When introducing technology at an organizational level, it’s critical to have the support of a partner who is committed to helping you empower users, minimize disruptions, overcome challenges, and get the most out of your investment. Our Solutions Advisor team is an in-house team of experts who work closely with end users as well as working side by side with our product management and development organizations. They use a combination of knowledge, skill, and the unique features available through Solventum solutions to optimize usage. They understand the needs and goals of the teams using Solventum software to perform daily critical tasks. Most importantly, they use a data driven approach to drive optimization and ensure the best outcomes.
