The 3M™ ScaleGard™ Blend Series of replacement cartridges are designed to reduce water hardness, chlorine taste and odour, and chloramines in commercial beverage water applications. When used with compatible 3M™ ScaleGard™ Blend Series heads, these cartridges allow controlled mineral blending to help optimise water quality for equipment protection and consistent beverage taste.

The 3M™ ScaleGard™ Blend Series of cartridges support consistent beverage quality while helping to protect equipment from scale and corrosion. Designed for use in commercial food service and beverage applications, these cartridges reduce chlorine taste and odour and help manage chloramines that may contribute to corrosion of metal, plastic, and rubber components.
When paired with compatible 3M™ ScaleGard™ Blend Series heads, adjustable blending allows control over mineral content to achieve Recipe Quality Water™ suited to specific equipment and beverage requirements. This helps balance taste performance while managing scale formation in hot beverage equipment.
The Blend Series incorporates carbon block filtration with ion exchange media to address both aesthetic water quality and hardness-related concerns. The Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) encapsulated cartridge design enables fast, hygienic cartridge replacement without the need for tools.
Cartridge performance, capacity, and hardness reduction levels vary by model. Refer to individual cartridge specifications to select the appropriate option for your application.
