We manufacture the 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ In-Line Replacement Filter Cartridge, IL-IM-01, as a single water filter cartridge that reduces sediment and chlorine taste and odour at flow rates at up to 1.89 lpm. This filter is ideal for refrigerators that do not include a water filtration system. It has a simple 1/4" push-in fitting design provides easy installation on existing water lines.

The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ In-Line Replacement filter cartridge, is a single cartridge that helps reduce sediment and chlorine taste and odour which may be in your drinking water and ice. Ideal for refrigerators that do not include a built-in water filtration system and/or ice maker, our replacement cartridges can also be used for drinking fountains, coffee machines and drink dispensers.
We use specially formulated activated carbon media in our replacement cartridge for effective filtration. It reduces chlorine taste and odour and provides effective filtration for up to 9,465 litres. The cartridge, using standard 1/4" inlet/outlet connections, is sanitary in design and requires no contact with the filter media during change-out. The cartridge change-out frequency is six months or sooner if water quality issues reduce water flow rates.
