About the product

We designed the 3M™ ScaleGard™ Blend Series of High Capacity Hardness Reduction Cartridges, Model B1175H-S to combine premium carbon block technology with a high-capacity ion exchange scale reduction media, to deliver clean, clear and great tasting water without the lime scale build-up. Our cartridges have an adjustable dial to set the desired mineral content of the water when using 3M™ ScaleGard™ Blend Series of Heads, and a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) encapsulated design for fast and easy cartridge change outs.

The 3M™ ScaleGard™ Blend Series of High Capacity Hardness Reduction Cartridges for consistent Recipe Quality Water™ for coffee, espresso, vending, steamers and combination ovens. Our cartridges deliver custom water quality that you control. Simply blend in the desired level of minerals for Recipe Quality Water. The premium carbon block technology and high-capacity buffered ion exchange resin reduces calcium and magnesium ions that can cause hard scale build-up on equipment. They reduce the bitter taste and odour of chlorine, and the hard scale that can react with metal, plastic and rubber materials, causing equipment damage. The cartridges have an easy-operation adjustable dial for precision blending when using 3M™ ScaleGard™ Blend Series of Heads, and a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) encapsulated design. Manufactured from FDA CFR-21 compliant materials for food and beverage contact. Tested and verified by manufacturer's laboratory.
