Kerracel™ Gelling Fiber Dressing
Product details
Made from 100% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) fibres, Kerracel Dressing absorbs and retains high levels of exudate¹ *, forming a gel¹ * which conforms to the wound bed and supports a moist wound healing environment. As fluid is absorbed vertically and locked away¹, peri-wound skin is protected from maceration². The unstitched design aids micro-contouring to the wound bed³ *, minimising dead space where bacteria can proliferate*. Conformability aids ease of application⁴, whilst its ability to retain integrity when wet¹ * helps to facilitate integral removal.
