Product details
The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Multi-Position Upper Body Warming Blanket, 62200 was inspired by the clinician’s need to optimize and maximize patient body surface coverage. This forced-air warming blanket bends and conforms to the patient’s body to help maintain normothermia, which has been shown to support positive patient outcomes by helping reduce the risk of surgical site infection (SSI)2,3.
Offering an easy-to-use warming solution, this blanket has a bendability that enables clinicians to adapt it to multiple positions and procedures. Transform your ability to warm patients with this single, versatile blanket that is easy to use across the perioperative journey and provides more patient warming options than ever before.
- Single-use, upper body forced-air warming blanket with excellent heat transfer
- Can be used in supine, prone, lithotomy, lateral, robotics and beach chair patient positions
- Multi-position blanket offers optimal patient body surface coverage(1) and fast and easy application in multiple surgical configurations
- Consists of a soft, conformable, lightweight material with natural dry rubber latex not present as a material of construction
- Perforations across the blanket deliver uniform convective warming
- Consistent and even perforations across the entire blanket ensure uniform convective warming
- Helps maintain normothermia, which has been shown to reduce the rate of complications such as including surgical site infection (SSI) (2,3)
- Attached clear head drape retains warm air around the intubated patient’s head and allows observation by the clinician
