About the product

The 3M™ Coban™ 2 Compression System is comfortable to wear and simple to apply. The system comprises of two thin layers to provide the stiffness required to sustain working pressures/low resting pressures to reduce oedema without the bulk. Recommended for patients with an ABPI ≥ 0.8.

Product details

The system is specifically developed to overcome some of the challenges that clinicians encounter with compression therapy. This compression system offers benefits to both clinicians and patients. Each system is supplied as a kit that includes two rolls: a Comfort Layer roll and a Compression Layer roll
  • Heals venous leg ulcer¹
  • Delivers therapeutic compression²
  • The compression layer is designed to be applied at full stretch, reducing application variability
  • Interlocking materials reduce potential for slippage³, to encourage longer wear
  • The thin, lightweight, breathable sleeve allows patients to wear their own footwear⁴, so they can return to their regular daily activities
  • Not made with natural rubber latex, not irritating, not sensitising
  • One size fits all
  • Can be safely left in place for up to 7 days on the leg³

Suggested Applications

  • For management of venous leg ulcers, oedema, lymphoedema and other clinical conditions where compression is appropriate
  • Coban 2 Compression System may be used for patients with an ABPI greater than or equal to 0.8
  • Coban 2 Lite Compression System may be used for patients with an ABPI greater than or equal to 0.5
