Comply™ Steam Type 4 Chemical Indicator Strip

The Comply steam type 4 chemical indicator strip 1250 is a paper strip 1.5 cm wide by 20 cm long (0.625 in wide by 8 in long) printed with a chemical indicator ink that turns from off-white to black when exposed to the steam sterilization process. The Type 4 chemical indicator is designed to monitor all 121-134ºC (250-273ºF) gravity and vacuum-assisted steam sterilization cycles and indicate whether steam has penetrated to the point of placement of the strip, usually the center of a pack. Each strip is perforated at the center if a shorter internal chemical indicator is preferred.
